The Aéro-club Brest Finistère, based at Brest Bretagne Airport in Guipavas, introduces visitors to aviation through introductory flights and events open to the public. The club operates several aircraft and also highlights the transition towards lower-impact aviation.
Discover flying from Brest
Among the aircraft presented is the Velis Electro, a certified two-seat electric aircraft used for discovery flights. The flying club also organises flights in conventional aircraft and activities involving its simulator or aeromodelling during its open days.
The club also maintains a restored 1944 Piper J3, a piece of aviation heritage. In 2026, another open day was held in spring, with aircraft displays and discovery flights.
A little something extra: the site offers a chance to discover both traditional light aviation and a 100% electric aircraft from the Brest Bretagne airfield.
