Au fil du Dédale is a Grenoble escape game spread across two separate venues: Les Archives at 2 cours Jean-Jaurès and Cabinet de Curiosités at 20 rue Chenoise. In 2026, the programme includes several very different worlds, so check the address for your chosen scenario before travelling.
Which room should you choose?
- Cambriolage au Musée: 60 minutes, 2 to 6 players. A good family introduction, with an adapted version from age 8; it is also the room best suited to people with reduced mobility.
- Donjon & Potions: 60 minutes, 2 to 6 players, with a family version from age 8. Choose this for an accessible medieval-fantasy world requiring no particular knowledge.
- Meurtre à la Nouvelle-Orléans: 60 minutes, 2 to 6 players. More demanding and recommended from around age 12; a better choice for a team wanting more investigation and difficulty.
- Fantomatch: up to 12 players, combining cooperation and competition. The scenario adapts its difficulty and can be replayed thanks to many different ghosts, making it interesting for groups larger than the classic 5 or 6 players.
The second venue on rue Chenoise hosts other worlds linked in particular to Chartreuse, Champollion and formats designed especially for children.
Advice for families and children
Cambriolage au Musée and Donjon & Potions have family versions advertised from age 8. An adult must take part with groups of children under 12. Meurtre à la Nouvelle-Orléans is more suited to pre-teens and teenagers; always check the chosen version when booking.
Good to know before booking
A game lasts 60 minutes and allow around 1 hour 30 minutes on site including briefing and debriefing. In 2026, the booking grid shows, for example, €90 for 2 players, €105 for 3, €120 for 4, €130 for 5 and €150 for 6, so the price per person falls as the team grows. Prices may change.
Accessibility varies by room: Cambriolage au Musée is the main mission advertised as wheelchair accessible, with capacity limited to two wheelchairs; the other worlds have more constraints.
A little something extra
Au fil du Dédale stands out above all for scenarios deeply rooted in Grenoble and its local imagination, and formats beyond the standard 2-6 players. For a large group, Fantomatch notably avoids having to split everyone into several small teams.
