In Arandon-Passins, Aéroclub de Morestel offers a glider discovery flight for one person above the landscapes of Isère and the first Alpine foothills. The club operates two-seat gliders and a dedicated tow plane.
Discovering the scenery from above
The flight offers an aerial view of the Morestel area. Depending on conditions, views may extend towards the Chartreuse, Bauges, Vercors or Jura, familiar flying areas for the club's pilots.
Before you visit
For its glider discovery flight, Aéroclub de Morestel states a 100 kg weight limit. The club relies mainly on volunteers, particularly at weekends and on public holidays; the FFVP notably lists activity on Saturdays from 09:00 to 19:00.
An added attraction is Morestel's location: the airfield offers an introduction to gliding both over the plains and towards the mid-altitude mountains, without embarking on a highly technical Alpine flight.
