At Clos des Coustoulins in Lacoste, a guide leads quad-bike excursions around Lac du Salagou. The aim is to discover the lake, its geology and its Natura 2000 landscapes rather than practise quad biking as a sport.
How much time should you allow?
The excursion lasts around 3 hours, plus 30 minutes to get familiar with the vehicles. Groups are limited to 5 quads, reduced to 4 quads between 15 June and 15 September.
Who can take part?
Drivers must show their original category A or B driving licence and remain the driver throughout the trip. Children may ride as passengers from 6 years old and 1.10 m tall.
2026 prices
The standard Salagou outing costs €135 per driver and €45 per passenger. A half-day wine-tourism alternative is also available.
Helmets and gloves are provided. The guide may postpone or cancel a trip if weather conditions make the route dangerous.
