Departing from port d’Hyères, Good Time Sailing offers liveaboard sailing courses to learn navigation while exploring the îles d’Or. Trips last 2 to 5 days, alternating manoeuvres, theory, life on board and stops towards Porquerolles, Port-Cros or the Giens peninsula.
Which sailing yacht will you board?
Courses take place aboard a 12.20 m Sun Odyssey 40 GTE, refurbished in late 2023. The boat accommodates up to 6 people including the skipper and has three double cabins, a bathroom, kitchen, hot water, solar panels and navigation equipment enabling practice of different points of sail and manoeuvres.
For beginners or those improving their skills
Alexandre, a professional skipper, adapts the programme to the crew's level. Beginners can learn the basics of sailing, knots, charts and safety rules; more experienced sailors can develop their manoeuvring and boat-handling skills.
An extra highlight
The experience feels like real crew life: everyone takes part in the manoeuvres and everyday life aboard. Léon, the seafaring cat, also accompanies the cruises, a distinctive feature proudly embraced by Good Time Sailing.
