At Ax 3 Domaines, Dévalkart takes place on a 3.5 km track with an advertised descent lasting more than 20 minutes. The non-motorised kart is driven solo: you control your speed over the changing terrain before reaching the bottom of the course.
What to know before visiting
The activity is open to participants from 1.35 m tall. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. The resort has several kart sizes, from S to XL, covering heights from 1.35 m to 2.10 m depending on the model. Proof of identity is requested as a deposit during the activity.
What's included
The Dévalkart package includes one descent and an all-day pedestrian lift pass giving unlimited access to the Baou gondola and Lièvre Blanc chairlift. The resort also supplies a helmet, goggles and a disposable helmet liner.
Practical tip
Ax 3 Domaines advertises six departures per day and advises advance booking. When booking, select the kart size appropriate for each driver; if the group needs several sizes, add each size to the basket separately before checking out.
