In Larnas, Mad Maze is a leisure park built around a large wooden maze to explore on two levels. The idea is simple: deliberately get lost between the towers, choose different passages and find your way out while discovering playful and visual installations scattered through the forest.
A maze to explore for several hours
The heart of the park has five towers, six entrances and two exits. Four large slides allow visitors to descend after climbing, while the routes can be tackled at different difficulty levels. The venue recommends allowing around three hours to a full day to enjoy everything.
Optical illusions and outdoor games
Mad Maze is not limited to its maze. The trail features more than 30 outdoor artworks and optical illusions, as well as slacklines, a barefoot trail, wooden games, swings and climbing areas. It works particularly well for families or friends because visitors alternate between finding their way, observing and physical activities without following a prescribed route.
A strongly seasonal outing
In 2026, the park opens from spring to the end of the October school holidays, with longer hours in July and August. As it is largely outdoors, the weather and time of year matter more than at an indoor park.
Mad Maze stands out for its large multi-level wooden maze and combination of challenges, illusions and forest games, rather than a succession of conventional rides.
