On Onival beach in Ault, Sensation Large offers land-yachting sessions supervised by qualified instructors. Participants meet at Base Nautique Eric Tabarly, directly opposite the beach access.
What is the minimum age?
In 2026, solo land yachting is available from age 14. Younger children can discover the sport from age 7 in a two-seater, accompanied by an adult. Sessions welcome beginners and more experienced participants.
What should you bring?
A helmet and full waterproof suit are supplied. Bring closed-toe shoes; gloves and glasses to protect against flying sand are also recommended.
What to know before visiting
Sessions depend directly on the wind and state of the beach. Too much or too little wind may result in cancellation. Arrive approximately 15 minutes before your booked time.
2026 prices
Sessions cost €42 for a single-seater and €70 for a two-seater land yacht.

Onival offers a wide open beach between the Baie de Somme and the Côte d’Albâtre, an area where the wind and available space are particularly well suited to land yachting.
