Old School Crew Drifting days take place several times a year at Circuit de Vendée in Fontenay-le-Comte. This is not a course with a car provided: the principle is a drift trackday, open to drivers who bring their own car, from beginners to experienced participants.
How does the day work?
After arrival and the safety briefing, driving is organised on an open basis from 09:00 to 12:00 and then from 13:30 to 17:30. Sessions take place on the circuit's eastern loop, a layout of around 1,221 m particularly suited to drifting, with a fast sweeping bend followed by an S-bend sequence. Practice focuses particularly on initiating and maintaining the drift and straightening up.
Can you come without a drift car?
To drive yourself during the trackday, you must bring your own vehicle prepared for drifting. However, Old School Crew also offers passenger drift rides on certain days, depending on the drivers present, in cars prepared for competition.
What to know in 2026
The Circuit de Vendée calendar confirms several Old School Crew Drifting days in 2026. Dates and registration conditions change throughout the season: consult the organiser before travelling.
This experience therefore differs clearly from a drift school: it is primarily aimed at those who want to build up dry-track driving time in their own car, in an organised and supervised setting.
