Prison Island Orléans turns 1,500 m² into a collective adventure course where teams compete in agility, thinking and strategy challenges in a recreated prison setting. It is an indoor activity designed for team play, from children aged 7 to adults aged 77.
The game and experience
You work your way through 23 game cells: each space offers a physical, technical or intellectual challenge and the whole experience is played in recommended teams of 3 people (possible from 2). The points system displays a live ranking on large screens, adding extra spice to the competition.
A standard session lasts around 1 hour 30 minutes, with the option of extending it by 30 minutes on site for those who want to complete the remaining cells.
Access and practical conditions
The venue is air-conditioned and welcomes visitors at varying times during school terms and holidays; guests are asked to arrive 20 minutes before their game time. Anyone entering the playing area is considered a player.
A few rules to note: children under 12 must be accompanied by at least one parent in the team, high heels are prohibited, bulky footwear is discouraged and phone use is forbidden during the game.
On site – social space and services
Reception opens onto a relaxation area with a bar serving soft drinks, draught beers and snacks, as well as arcade games for use before or after the session. Lockers with padlocks are available to secure personal belongings.
The venue welcomes a variety of groups: tickets for small groups, birthday packages for ages 7–16 with unlimited cordial and dedicated options for hen and stag parties, while companies can consider team-building packages and private hire by quotation.
Accessibility and payment methods
Reception and the bar are wheelchair accessible; the game course is partially adapted. Accepted payment methods include bank cards and paper or digital ANCV holiday vouchers.
The booking policy allows cancellations up to 48 hours before the session and changes up to 24 hours beforehand.
Address and practical contact details
The venue is at 4 Rue de la Chistera, 45380 La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin.
Opening times vary by period: outside school holidays, during the autumn and Christmas holidays, or during the winter, spring and summer holidays, time slots run from morning to evening according to the period.
