In Sarzeau, the Association Subaquatique de Rhuys offers introductory dives, notably in a swimming pool in Elven, and sea outings in the Golfe du Morbihan. The club is affiliated with the FFESSM and also organises dives for its members and visiting divers.
What happens during an introductory dive?
Diving equipment is provided by the association. Each participant is accompanied by an instructor for a first introduction to the sensations of being underwater. The wildlife of the Golfe du Morbihan can be discovered on the sea outings organised by the club.
Introductory dives can be organised in different settings according to the club's programme, notably in a swimming pool or at local events. For sea outings, the club uses its boat Hippocampe III, which carries 10 divers and is moored at Port-Navalo.
Good to know before you visit
Activities depend on the club's calendar and diving conditions. The association also welcomes outside divers on certain outings, so it is best to check the programme before travelling.
What distinguishes the club
ASR combines introductory sessions, club life and diving around the Presqu'île de Rhuys, with direct access to the underwater richness of the Golfe du Morbihan.
