Departing from the port of Hyères, Blue Sky Boat offers exploration of the Îles d’Or aboard L’Atoll, a Merry Fisher 1095 available for private hire for a day, a weekend or longer. Routes may include Porquerolles, Port-Cros and île du Levant, with the option of being put in touch with a skipper to handle the boat.
Why choose this option for the Îles d’Or?
Unlike a scheduled crossing connecting one port to a single island, the trip is organised around a privately hired boat. This makes it possible to plan several anchoring spots, coves or islands during the stay, depending on sea conditions and the agreed itinerary.
What boat is used?
L’Atoll accommodates up to 10 people, including the accompanying person, depending on the activity selected. The boat has three bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and spacious outdoor areas: a layout suitable both for a day at sea and a multi-day stay.
What can you do during stops?
Blue Sky Boat offers optional equipment to enjoy time on the water while anchored: paddleboard, kayak and snorkelling equipment, with life jackets. These extras make it easier to approach a cove or observe underwater life without relying solely on the boat.
With or without a skipper?
The boat can be hired with or without a captain. For a guided outing, Blue Sky Boat can also arrange an introduction to a skipper. Without a captain, at least a coastal boating licence and boating experience are required.
The added attraction
The real difference is the freedom to design a trip between several Îles d’Or from Hyères. Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant can therefore all be part of one sailing itinerary rather than three separate excursions.
