Popita Créa, at 4 rue François-Dauphin in Lyon's 2nd arrondissement, is a creative café specialising in costume jewellery. After several years of travelling workshops, the concept now has its own venue: choose beads, colours and shapes, then put together a bracelet, necklace or another personalised piece.
How does the workshop work?
The self-paced format lasts up to 2 hours and lets you progress at your own speed using the bead bar's supplies. Prices seen in 2026 start at around €7 for a bracelet and can reach approximately €20 for more elaborate creations, with possible extras depending on the charms chosen.
With children?
The venue welcomes children from age 6, accompanied by an adult. The workshop works particularly well for families or groups of friends because everyone makes something different. Booking is available notably through Popita Créa's social media channels.
An extra detail
Drinks and pastries turn the bead bar into a proper café break. Unlike a workshop where everyone reproduces the same model, here each person chooses their own components: the result is wearable and genuinely personal.
