In Dinan, La Piscine is Dinan Agglomération's new aquatic centre, built around three complementary pools: a 25-metre indoor pool, a 15-metre teaching pool and a 50-metre outdoor Nordic pool. The facilities suit lane swimming, family outings and relaxation.
Why does the outdoor pool make a difference?
The 50-metre Nordic pool allows year-round outdoor swimming in a sporting format rarely found at a general leisure pool. Inside, the 25-metre pool is used for swimming and activities, while the teaching pool caters especially for lessons and younger swimmers.
What about a less sporty outing?
The centre also offers leisure areas with massage jets, bubble beds and water games, as well as a wellness area accessible with a separate ticket. Depending on the timetable, activities include swimming, aqua aerobics, aquabiking and baby swimming sessions.
2026 prices
Standard aquatic admission costs €6 for Dinan Agglomération residents and €7 for visitors from outside the area. Reduced prices are €4.80 or €5.60 depending on residence. Entry is free for under-fours. The combined aquatic and wellness ticket costs €18 for residents and €22 for non-residents.
Prices scheduled until 2027
Dinan Agglomération states that these prices, introduced on 1 January 2026, are intended to remain in effect until August 2027. Proof of address is required for resident rates.
Opening hours
During school terms, La Piscine opens daily with morning, midday or evening slots depending on the day. In the main summer holidays, opening is simpler: 10:00 to 19:00 every day.
An extra detail
The combination of a 50 m outdoor Nordic pool, indoor pools and wellness area means serious swimmers, families and visitors mainly looking to relax can share the same venue.
La Piscine de Dinan stands out for this versatility, with a full-length outdoor pool rather than just a leisure section added to a conventional swimming pool.
