The CNEV - Club Nautique Esparron de Verdon is based on Lac d'Esparron, at the entrance to the lower Gorges du Verdon. Visitors come both to sail and to explore with a paddle.
What can you hire?
The club offers two-person kayaks, paddleboards, catamarans and dinghies, among other craft. A kayak trip can reach Quinson, approximately 18 km return; the lower gorges offer a gentler route for paddleboarding.
For beginners
The reception team provides personalised advice to newcomers, and some craft can be booked online. The range of equipment means you can choose between independent exploration and sailing.
In 2026
The club also brings the lake to life with events such as the Voile Verdon regatta and the Fête du Lac from 14 to 17 May 2026. CNEV's strength is bringing together sailing and exploration of the gorges in small craft at the same location.
