At 5 allée de Brienne in Toulouse, Flashback Café occupies the former Saint-Pierre lock keeper's house, built in the late 18th century where the Garonne meets Canal de Brienne. Since 2023, this heritage building has become a hybrid venue combining a restaurant, bar, café and performance stage.
The setting is a genuine part of the experience: an open-air patio, several indoor spaces and décor mixing vintage references with contemporary touches, all in a restored former lock keeper's house.
What can you see in 2026?
The 2026 programme combines stand-up comedy, DJ sets, quizzes, blind tests, themed evenings, sports broadcasts and participatory events. In autumn 2026, for example, the calendar includes several comedy evenings featuring Harold Barbé and Alicia C'est Tout, as well as quizzes and music events.
Not every evening is therefore a 'dinner show' in the cabaret sense: the right approach is to choose your date according to the programme.
The restaurant
At lunchtime, the menu changes regularly and remains deliberately affordable:
- dish of the day: €12;
- starter + main course or main course + dessert: €15;
- starter + main course + dessert: €18.
In the evening, Flashback offers a blackboard menu and homemade dishes, with vegetarian and vegan options, natural or responsibly produced wines and craft beers.
A little something extra
The appeal does not come from the show alone: the venue lets you eat in a building directly linked to the history of Canal de Brienne, then stay for stand-up, a DJ set or a themed evening. This is precisely what distinguishes it from a pure comedy club or a simple restaurant.
