In Soulaire-et-Bourg, around 15 minutes from Angers, Agri’KIDS is like visiting a real small family farm: more than 90 animals across three wooded hectares, enclosures visitors can enter and several play areas for extending the family outing.
Self-guided or guided visit?
In 2026, a self-guided visit costs €6 per person and lasts at least 1 hour 30 minutes. Visitors can move among the animals, enter certain enclosures, approach them and sometimes feed them. Play structures are included in admission.
Guided visits, by reservation for at least four paying visitors, cost €8 per person. During summer holidays, the farm opens every day; in school terms, visits are concentrated mainly on Wednesdays and weekends.
For children who want to take part
The L’envers du décor workshop goes beyond a visit: in very small groups, children from around age 5 or 6 help with animal care, milking, feeding or the day's farm work. The activities vary according to weather, births and agricultural tasks.
The story behind the farm
Agri’KIDS has been run by a farming family since 1935. The educational farm moved from Jarzé to Soulaire-et-Bourg in 2026, while the historic working farm remains at Jarzé.
What families especially appreciate is that children are not always kept behind a fence: they can actually enter certain areas and learn what caring for animals involves.
