In Rosoy-en-Multien, at Bois de Rosoy, Escape Forest is an unusually long escape game: the adventure takes place over 2 days and 1 night, lasting around 20 hours, in 4 hectares of forest. There is no room to search in 60 minutes: your team camps on site and follows the traces of an old expedition in search of lost treasure.
What is the adventure really like?
Over roughly 20 hours, participants alternate between clue hunting, puzzles, navigation, treasure maps, skill games, obstacle courses, night challenges and a grand finale. The camp itself is integral to the scenario: you eat and sleep there, and discover more game elements.
The Game Master does not physically follow you all the time. They provide logistical support and can intervene remotely by walkie-talkie, enhancing the feeling of being on a real expedition.
Who is it suitable for?
Teams have 4 to 6 adventurers. With seven people, the organiser asks you to find an eighth participant to make two teams of four. Several camps can be booked together: up to 36 adventurers can share the same storyline in a cooperative or competitive format.
The minimum age is 12. Every team with minors must include at least one responsible adult aged 18 or over.
What to know before booking
Escape Forest runs from late March to mid-November. In 2026, prices start at €200 per person for a team of six in an Indiana tent: €225 for four, €210 for five and €200 for six. In a shelter, allow €258.75, €237 or €222.50 per adventurer respectively.
The price includes the game, campsite, activities and three meals to prepare over a campfire. You mainly need to bring a sleeping bag and a head torch; the camps are already set up.
In summer, the Bois de Rosoy swimming pool can complement the experience before or after the game; it is generally open from mid-May to mid-September depending on the weather.
Do you need to be sporty?
No: the organiser specifies that this is not a survival course. Some challenges are physical, but none is compulsory and the Game Master can offer ways around them. The car park, reception and pool are wheelchair-accessible; the game itself, however, naturally takes place on uneven forest ground and involves obstacles. Discuss specific mobility needs with the team in advance.
An extra detail
Escape Forest extends escape-game puzzles and immersion across an entire weekend, with an adventure that continues overnight. Sleeping within the story, making a fire, playing at night and resuming the quest the next day create an experience impossible to recreate in a conventional escape room. Choose it for the weekend itself, rather than simply to “solve a few puzzles”.
