At Saint-Lary, the Mountain’Kart route descends from the top of the Bouleaux chairlift at an altitude of 2,213 m. The route covers 4 km with a 600 m descent, along forest tracks, prepared paths, alpine pastures and woodland. The three-wheeled off-road kart has no motor and runs under gravity.
Can you ride Mountain’Kart in September 2026?
No: the 2026 season for this activity ended on 30 August. Altiservice advertised it from 4 July to 30 August, alongside the summer operation of the Bouleaux chairlift. Dates for the next season will need to be checked before planning an outing.
What is the minimum age?
Two conditions apply: participants must be at least 12 years old and at least 1.40 m tall. Allow around one hour for welcome, equipment, briefing, ascent and descent.
What were the 2026 prices?
The advertised price was €21 per person from the Bouleaux chairlift, or €26 from the village including the cable-car ascent, ski lifts and kart hire.
What distinguishes Saint-Lary is its long 4 km descent with a 600 m height difference, starting from an area more than 2,200 m above sea level.
