In Artouste, Mountain Kart offers a spectacular descent of around 8 km after a gondola ride up. The off-road kart lets you discover the terrain of the vallée d’Ossau differently, with a genuinely long descent rather than a simple loop circuit.
Who can take part?
The activity is open to those aged 12 and over. To book, Artouste asks you to email each participant’s age and height along with your preferred time slot. The booking is only confirmed once you receive the resort’s confirmation email.
Prices and times
The advertised price is €25 per person, including the gondola ride up. Departures are offered at 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30 and 16:00; a 17:30 slot is added at weekends and every day from 6 July to 1 September.
Know before you go
Artouste provides a full-face helmet and goggles. The resort warns that you may end up wet: bring waterproof trousers and a rain jacket or a change of clothes, as well as gloves for a better grip. The 2026 summer season runs from 8 May to 4 October.
