At Alpe d'Huez, Mountain Karting takes place in the Marcel's Farm area, over natural ground with bumps and bends. The three-wheeled off-road kart has no engine: riders control speed with the handlebars and negotiate the terrain rather than following a groomed track.
Who can take part?
The activity is open from age 12, with a minimum height of 1.35 m. Helmets are compulsory. The start and ticket office are at the bottom of the Signal lift in Grandes Rousses 1800.
2026 prices and season
For summer 2026, the advertised price is €20 for one ride or €28 for two. The two-ride ticket is valid for one person on a single day. Opening is scheduled from 4 July to 30 August, daily from 10:00 to 16:30.
Practical tip
Tickets are purchased directly at the departure point, with payment by bank card only. Major resort events may cause exceptional closures or altered hours, so check that the activity is operating before heading to Signal.
