In Riantec, facing the Rade de Lorient, the Phare de Kerbel offers the chance to spend the night in a studio fitted out at the very top of the lighthouse. You must climb 126 steps to reach this accommodation perched around 25 metres high, with panoramic views of Port-Louis, Gâvres and the harbour.
The studio sleeps 2 people. It includes a double bed, an equipped kitchenette and the linen needed for your stay. The garden of over 1,000 m², swimming pool and sauna remain exclusively accessible to the property's occupants.
Two ways to book
The Phare de Kerbel operates on an exclusive-use basis: the different accommodation units are never rented to several groups at the same time.
The official website currently lists:
- studio at the top for 2 people: €750 for the first night, then €650 per additional night;
- entire property for up to 8 people: €1,300 for the first night, then €900 per additional night;
- full week for the entire property: €5,500.
In addition to the lighthouse studio, the entire property includes the former oil room and the keeper's house.
Good to know before booking
Nightly rentals are available all year except during the last two weeks of July and the first two weeks of August, when the entire property is rented by the week.
Pets are not allowed. The accommodation at the top is naturally poorly suited to people who have difficulty climbing stairs.
The Phare de Kerbel is at 71 route de Port-Louis, 56670 Riantec. When choosing a date, checking sunrise and sunset times and tidal coefficients can really change the experience.
