In Vigny, between Metz and Nancy, Chalon Olivier Golf (C.O. Golf) welcomes golfers to a training centre housed in a former railway station. Founded by former professional player Olivier Chalon, the venue focuses on technical improvement rather than a round on a nine- or eighteen-hole course.
Long game and short game, with a professional
The centre brings together a driving range, a putting green, an approach green and bunkers to work on the various golfing techniques. Olivier Chalon offers personalised lessons for beginners and experienced players: posture, swing, driving, approaches and putting. Sessions can use video analysis and TrackMan radar to visualise ball flights and impact parameters.
A speciality: adapting clubs to the player
C.O. Golf is also a club fitting and clubmaking workshop: the choice of shaft, head and balance is considered using swing measurements. It is therefore a particularly relevant place for a lesson or an equipment check, rather than simply a self-service dispenser of buckets of balls. The centre is at domaine de La Champelle, around 20 minutes from Metz and 30 minutes from Nancy.
