At Aerokart in Argenteuil, indoor skydiving takes place in a vertical wind tunnel reproducing the sensations of a parachute jump without a plane or high-altitude departure. The tunnel measures 4.80 m in diameter and 7 m in height, and airflow is adjusted to each participant's ability and weight.
How does a first flight work?
The introductory session starts with a briefing on body position and safety rules. A full-face helmet and suit are provided, then the participant flies with a qualified instructor alongside them. The basic package includes two minutes of flight and finishes with a rise to the top of the flying chamber with the instructor.
What to know before booking
The activity is open from age 7. Between 7 and 14, a responsible adult must be present and parental authorisation is required. Over age 65, a medical certificate issued within the previous year confirming no contraindications is required. Booking is compulsory; in 2026, the two-minute session costs €59 for adults and €54 for children.
Aerokart's extra advantage is being able to add indoor karting at the same venue, while keeping the wind tunnel as the main experience.
