Steps from the Vieux-Port de Marseille, Académie de Billard de Marseille has welcomed players since 1917. At 26 rue Pavillon, it occupies more than 400 m² over two floors, with around twenty tables and photographs and trophies bearing witness to its history.
Several disciplines under one roof
Players can practise French, English and American pool, snooker or artistic billiards. The venue combines leisure games, teaching and competitions within a structure affiliated with the Fédération française de billard. It welcomes beginners and regular players alike.
An address rooted in Marseille
The Académie also has two bars and a terrace. A second-floor room was renovated in 2024, extending the life of this century-old institution. Its originality lies in the breadth of table choice and the transmission of billiards in a venue that preserves its sporting memory.
