Bretagne Parapente Tandem Fly offers introductory tandem paragliding flights at several coastal sites between baie de Saint-Brieuc and Granville. The take-off site is not fixed: it is chosen according to the wind and weather conditions, then confirmed the day before along with the meeting time.
Where can you take off?
In 2026, the advertised sites include Pointe du Roselier in baie de Saint-Brieuc, Saint-Pabu - plage de Ville Berneuf between Erquy and Pléneuf-Val-André, and Champeaux, Carolles and Granville in baie du Mont-Saint-Michel. Saint-Malo serves as the provider’s reference location, but the flight may therefore take place several dozen kilometres away depending on air conditions.
Which option should you choose?
Three formats are available, offering around 10, 15 or 20 minutes of flying. Video and photo coverage is optional on the first two packages and included in the longest one.
Who can fly?
No piloting skills are required. The flight takes place in tandem with a state-qualified instructor. The main practical restriction highlighted by the provider is the passenger’s weight, which must be between 35 and 90 kg, depending on wind strength.
Know before you go
Bring trousers, a jacket or windbreaker, closed-toe shoes and glasses. Payment is made on site after the flight, by cash or cheque, with no card terminal. Weather may also cause waiting, postponement or cancellation.
The little extra
The appeal of this travelling format is being able to select the coastal site best suited to the day’s conditions, with take-offs facing the sea rather than a single fixed site.
