In Chaumont, Eskap offers a self-guided adventure through a mobile app in the historic centre in 2026. The whole route takes place in the streets, with no physical escape room to search.
Before booking
The start is at 49 rue Edmé-Bouchardon, 52000 Chaumont. The game takes two to six players, requires no booking and lasts around 90 minutes to two hours.
Each participant needs their own smartphone with mobile data: information is deliberately split between phones to encourage real exchanges between players. Missions are available in French and English, with hints in the app.
The finish is less than 300 m from the start, and players can pause during the game.
The extra touch
The route reveals Chaumont's town centre and heritage near the keep, without imposing a fixed start time. It's a flexible walking mystery game, distinctly different from a physical escape room.
