In Fouesnant, between the town centre and Bénodet, Maison de Perguet introduces visitors to a family-run cider business growing its own fruit. The apples come from the family orchard and are pressed and bottled on site; the business produces naturally sparkling ciders in particular, with some cuvées aged in oak barrels.
What do you see during the tour?
The tour lasts around 1 hour. Alexandre presents the orchard work and pressing, then takes visitors into the processing workshop and cellar to explain fermentation and the making of ciders, juices and spirits. The visit ends with a tasting.
A tour following the cider calendar
In 2026, free tours run very frequently from 1 April to 19 September, with three weekday departures at 11:00, 14:00 and 15:00. During the harvest, from 21 September to 28 November, they are concentrated on Fridays at 14:00 and 15:00. During the subsequent cellar-work period, slots remain available on Thursdays and Fridays.
Know before you go
Booking is recommended to keep group sizes down. Individual visitors tour for free; organised groups have a specific package. The cider business can accommodate up to around fifty people in its advertised professional format.
A little extra: returning in another season does not reveal exactly the same work. The harvest followed by cellar work gives concrete meaning to the production calendar described during the tour.
