In Wittenheim, near Mulhouse, LoisiGames offers BattleKart, a game in which you actually drive an electric kart on a circuit with routes, obstacles and bonuses projected onto the floor. It is an experience between karting and a video game, with racing and strategy modes.
What happens during a BattleKart game?
A game lasts 15 minutes and accommodates 1 to 12 players. To drive, you must be at least 1.45 m tall, with no fixed minimum age advertised. Visitors are asked to arrive 30 minutes before their booking for reception and preparation. BattleRace uses racing-game conventions with bonuses; other modes change the objective.
What else can you do besides BattleKart?
LoisiGames also offers mixed-reality games for 2 to 6 players, with around 20 minutes of play and 10 minutes of preparation. This other activity is priced separately: the first session is advertised at €15, while the BattleKart price is shown when booking.
Good to know before you visit
The complex is at ZAC du Carreau, rue des Mines Anna, 68270 Wittenheim. Outside holidays, visitors are welcomed Wednesday to Sunday, then throughout the week during school holidays. BattleKart bookings are firm and final unless cancelled by the operator.
A little something extra: the floor projections make every race different, without making the experience depend solely on driving speed.
