At station du Mont Serein, on Mont Ventoux, Dévalkart takes place on the grassy la Lisière slope. The kart is not motorised: a drag lift pulls riders uphill, then each person descends at their own pace, choosing speed or a gentler ride.
Before you visit
The activity is reserved for people over 10 and the resort gives a reference height of more than 1.45 m, to be confirmed on site. Closed-toe shoes are compulsory. One ride includes a drag-lift ascent followed by a descent.
Do you need to book?
For general public sessions advertised in the afternoon, from 13:30 to 18:00, rides take place without booking. Morning slots from 10:00 to 13:00 are reserved for pre-booked groups, with a dedicated package.
The extra touch
Mont Serein's Dévalkart doesn't require a chairlift or gondola: the resort's drag lift takes both kart and driver directly back to the top. This is quite different from the long Mountain Kart descents offered at major Alpine resorts.
