Departing from Port Miramar in La Londe-les-Maures, DUNE La Londe organises guided snorkelling trips in the areas around Port-Cros and Porquerolles. The aim is to discover the Mediterranean seabed from the surface, with an instructor, without using scuba equipment.
What can you see while snorkelling?
The outing focuses on observing the National Park’s wildlife, flora and underwater formations. Fins, a mask and a snorkel let you move along the surface while the guide helps you spot and understand what lies beneath the water.
Why depart from La Londe?
Port Miramar offers convenient access to the Îles d’Or. DUNE has a fleet of 3 boats, including two motor launches, used to reach activity sites around Port-Cros and Porquerolles depending on the day’s conditions.
Good to know in 2026
The centre advertises opening 7 days a week from early April to 11 November 2026. Outside this period, the activity remains available on certain weekends, during school holidays and on request.
An extra highlight
This option is well suited to people drawn to the underwater world of Port-Cros who prefer to stay on the surface. It can also offer a first introduction to the marine environment before considering a trial dive or scuba training.
