At Musée de Plein Air in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, a birthday becomes a mystery adventure through a recreated rural village. Accompanied by a guide, the group explores houses, animals and countryside customs from the 18th and 19th centuries, solving puzzles along the way.
A 90-minute activity
Offered from April to October, the package is open from age five for groups of 8–15 children. It lasts around 90 minutes and can be booked on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
In 2026, the listed price is €12 per child. The birthday child and one accompanying adult enter free; additional adult companions cost €3 each.
A sheltered picnic space may be provided on request. You can bring a birthday cake or order one from the on-site estaminet. The attraction is combining a party, treasure hunt and discovery of a genuine open-air museum.
