In Réguisheim, Alsace, Le Comptoir du Brasseur runs a five-hour workshop in which each station brews its own batch under the guidance of a brewer. Participants first choose their preferred style, then carry out all the major production steps themselves.
Dozens of recipes to choose from
Blonde, amber, IPA, pale ale, or more smoky, spicy, fruity and hoppy styles: dozens of recipes provide starting points. Once a recipe is chosen, it's time for hands-on work: weighing, milling, mashing, sparging, boiling, adding hops and chilling.
€180 for a station, for one or two people
The 2026 price is €180 per brewing station. Each station accommodates one or two people, and sessions can host up to ten stations. This makes the workshop appealing for couples as well as organised groups.
Around 24 bottles after fermentation
After two to three weeks of fermentation, the brewery notifies participants once the beer has been bottled. Each station receives around 24 bottles of 75 cl, or two cases.
Continue at home
Le Comptoir du Brasseur also sells equipment and ingredients for amateur and professional brewers. After the workshop, you can find malt, hops, yeast and equipment on site to try your own brews at home.
