In Habère-Poche, Planeurs Léman Mont-Blanc launches its introductory flights from the plateau des Moises, at around 1,100 m above sea level. Just a few dozen seconds after take-off, the glider can already reveal views towards the Chablais, Mont-Blanc, lac Léman, Geneva and the Jura.
From 5 to 15 minutes, with possible extensions
In 2026, the circuit flight of around 5 minutes is advertised at €60, and the 15-minute flight at €120. If soaring conditions are favourable and the passenger wishes to continue, the flight can exceptionally reach 30 minutes for €180, then be extended in 15-minute increments.
Conditions for flying
The introductory flight is open to those aged 13 and over, between 1.50 m and 1.90 m tall and weighing 40 to 100 kg. On the day of the flight, the club asks you to wait for telephone confirmation before setting off. Closed-toe shoes, a sun hat or cap and sunglasses are recommended.
Know before boarding
A 6 kg emergency parachute is worn during the flight. Cameras, video cameras and smartphones are prohibited on board to prevent objects from interfering with the controls.
A little extra: the contrast between Léman on one side and the peaks of the Chablais and Mont-Blanc on the other gives this introductory flight a distinctly Alpine character.
