In Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Beach Paddle offers stand-up paddleboard hire directly on the Marne, departing from 18 quai du Mesnil. The fleet includes single, double and three-person paddleboards, as well as a MégaPaddle for playing or paddling as a group.
How much does paddleboarding cost in 2026?
Single paddleboard hire ranges from €10 for 30 minutes to €30 for 2 hours. A double paddleboard costs €20 to €58 and the three-person model €30 to €80, depending on duration. For groups of at least 4 people, the MégaPaddle is advertised at €10 per person for 30 minutes or €17 per person for 1 hour.
Do you need to book?
For individual hire, you can come straight to the centre without booking. Reservations mainly apply to large groups, companies and schools. You must be able to swim; an approved life jacket is provided and must be worn during the session.
Know before you go
Beach Paddle is open from March to October, weather permitting. The centre advertises a walk of around 8 minutes from Champigny / Saint-Maur on RER A. The venue also has a clubhouse with a terrace overlooking the Marne to extend your outing after paddling.
What groups appreciate
Double, three-person and MégaPaddle formats allow people to take part together without each participant needing an individual hire. Beach Paddle also offers tailor-made activities and team building for groups of 15 to 50 people and more.
