The Protection des Nordiques - Cani-Rando Sibérienne 35 (PNCRS35) association organises guided walks with a pack of huskies, some of which have been rescued. Wearing a waist harness and lead, each participant walks with a dog suited to their profile: the aim is as much to discover dog-assisted hiking as to meet the pack and understand the needs of northern-breed dogs.
How does the outing work?
Departures are organised by reservation and may vary by date and partner. In August 2026, Destination Brocéliande notably listed outings in Augan, with Martine and a pack of nine huskies. The route is adapted to the group and conditions rather than following one permanent itinerary.
Prices listed in 2026
Destination Brocéliande currently lists dog-assisted hiking at €26 per person. A “keeper for a day” package is also offered at €15 per person in this programme. As locations and slots may change, check availability when booking.
What to know before visiting
The dog's pulling makes the walk different from a conventional hike: wear suitable shoes and comfortable clothes. The association operates in several locations, so always confirm the exact meeting point before departure.
An extra detail
PNCRS35's dogs are not just hiking partners: the association also educates visitors about the needs of northern breeds and adoption, giving the encounter a more educational dimension than an ordinary walk.
