In Steinbourg, Moto Club de la Zorn has a motocross facility with a 1,800 m main circuit, a KIDS / pit-bike track and a mini-motorbike track. Founded in 1995, the club promotes motocross, supercross and small-capacity motorcycle riding in the Heide leisure area.
For children aged 6 to 11, the club's school organises introductory motorcycling sessions from March to November, generally once a month. Motorcycles and protective equipment are provided, no licence is required for these introductory sessions, and instruction is given by a qualified coach. Bikes used include Yamaha PW50 and Kawasaki KLX110 models.
This provides a chance to discover mini-motorcycling on a dedicated track with gradual learning and structured supervision before considering regular motocross.
