At Isola 2000, the Mountain Kart follows a waymarked 3.5 km route from the Combe Grosse chairlift. The all-terrain kart has no engine: each participant drives their own descent and controls their speed using the brakes, in a high-mountain setting.
Who can take part?
Driving is available from a height of 1.35 m. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The activity is prohibited for pregnant women and strongly discouraged for people with back or neck problems.
2026 prices and access
The price shown in 2026 is €15 per descent, plus €5 for the chairlift if you do not already have a valid pedestrian, mountain-bike or season pass. The starting point is the “En voiture Simon(e)” hut, above the chapel on the snow front.
Practical tip
The activity is advertised every day from 09:00 to 17:00, depending on the weather. Proof of identity is requested as a deposit. Card payments are accepted from €20, along with cash and ANCV holiday vouchers.
