In Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, Quad Escape organises sightseeing rides by quad bike and SSV to discover the Plateau de Valensole, Lac de Sainte-Croix and the landscapes of the Verdon. Outings are led by a guide with a CQP Quad qualification and take place on tracks and roads open to traffic.
Scenic rides, not sporting circuits
The Découverte option lasts around 1 hour 30 minutes and costs €150 for two people by quad bike or SSV. An Aventure SSV option lasts around 2 hours 30 minutes, from €250 for two people. Half-day and full-day outings are also available with meals included.
What to know in 2026
Driving an SSV or quad bike requires a category B driving licence. Children can travel as passengers in an SSV from age 5; on two-seater quad bikes, passengers must be at least 12 years old. The activity is available all year by reservation.
Quad Escape deliberately favours a relaxed pace focused on sightseeing and discovering the landscape rather than sporty driving.
