From Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, Aile Libre offers tandem flights in the Préalpes de Grasse all year round, as well as seasonal flights over the Mediterranean from Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.
Sea or mountains?
In the Préalpes, introductory flights pass above Thiey, Audibergue, Cheiron and the Gorges de la Siagne, with the Côte d’Azur visible on the horizon. These flights are available throughout the year from €80.
Between October and April, flights are also organised at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin overlooking the Mediterranean, from €110.
What to know before flying
Passengers generally need to weigh between 30 and 90 kg and be able to run a few steps at take-off. Allow around 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes on site in total, with flight duration varying according to conditions.
A GoPro video option is available for €30. Aile Libre's main appeal is the choice between Alpine panoramas and coastal flying depending on the season.
