At 55 rue de la Belgique, Atelier Blanc de Meudon offers a pottery-painting café experience separate from its pottery classes. Choose a pre-made piece - mug, bowl, plate or small object - then decorate it with paints, brushes, stencils and accessories provided on site.
How does a session work?
Ceramic painting requires no previous experience. The ceramicist guides participants on colours and techniques, then keeps the pieces for glazing and firing. For private adult bookings, the advertised format lasts around 2 hours.
When can you collect your creation?
Painted pieces cannot be taken home the same day. Atelier Blanc de Meudon indicates a delay of around 10 days before collection for the ceramic café. That is shorter than for some hand-built or wheel-thrown pieces that require additional drying and firing stages.
An extra detail
For painting an already shaped piece, choose the ceramic café. If you want to make the form yourself, introductory wheel-throwing and hand-building sessions are separate experiences.
