In Plerguer, around twenty minutes from Saint-Malo, Cidres Sorre has continued a family tradition of Breton cider-making since 1952. You stop directly at the cider farm's shop, set among orchards, with a free tasting of its products.
What can you taste on site?
The tasting introduces the different Sorre ciders and cuvées, as well as apple juices. The appeal is being able to compare several profiles while talking to the team about the products and how they are made. The tasting is free in 2026 and requires no purchase.
What kind of visit should you expect?
Cidres Sorre is best suited to a food and drink stop rather than a long guided tour: you come to the cider farm to discover the cuvées, ask questions and taste before moving on. Its location in Plerguer makes it easy to combine with a day between Saint-Malo and Dinan, around 15 minutes from Dinan and 20 minutes from Saint-Malo according to the producer.
Before you visit
In 2026, the shop opens Monday to Saturday, generally from 09:00 to 12:30 and then in the afternoon. Closing is advertised at 18:00 from October to March and at 18:30 from April to September; it is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
A little extra: this is a simple way to replace traditional wine tasting with a product much more rooted in the Breton landscape, without a major detour from Saint-Malo.
