On the Promenade des Anglais, Nikaia Water Sport offers an introduction to flyboarding in the Baie des Anges, off the Nice coastline. Connected to a jet ski turbine, the device propels water beneath your feet and allows you to rise above the sea after gradually getting used to it.
How does the experience work?
The activity is supervised by a professional instructor who pilots the jet ski and adjusts the power during the session. The provider supplies the necessary equipment and states that flyboarding is available from age 16. The aim of the first few minutes is primarily to find your balance before trying to rise higher or link movements.
