At 34 rue Sedaine, in Paris's 11th arrondissement, Hell Out runs Hôtel Sedaine in 2026, a horror escape game designed as one location with two 60-minute scenarios: L’Exploration interdite and Les Souterrains. Both are for 2 to 6 players and can be experienced with or without actors, depending on the chosen intensity.
Which scenario should you choose?
- L’Exploration interdite takes you into an abandoned 1980s hotel to investigate disturbing events. It is the introductory scenario in the Hôtel Sedaine story.
- Les Souterrains takes the exploration beneath the building, with a more paranormal angle involving a filmed investigation in what is said to be the hotel's most haunted location.
Both experiences share the same character: highly realistic décor, darkness, puzzles and the option of interacting with actors.
Can you play without being frightened?
Yes. This is one of the most useful things to know: when booking, Hell Out lets you choose between Mode Mystère, without actors or deliberate scares, and Mode Horreur, which is more intense and involves more interaction. The same setting can therefore suit a group mainly interested in puzzles or players specifically seeking a fright.
What to know before booking
In 2026, both scenarios have the same prices: €55 per person for 2 players, €43 for 3, €38 for 4, €35 for 5 and €32 for 6 players. The game lasts 60 minutes.
Hôtel Sedaine has a minimum age of 12. The experience is strongly discouraged for sensitive individuals, pregnant women and people with epilepsy. If anyone in your group is unsure, choose Mode Mystère rather than skipping the venue.
An extra detail
Hell Out does not merely place several unrelated sets side by side: the scenarios take place in the same Hôtel Sedaine and share a common story. Playing L’Exploration interdite and then Les Souterrains therefore extends the same mythology, giving the impression of returning to explore a haunted location rather than simply booking a second escape room.
