Perched above Èze, the Jardin Exotique occupies the site of a former medieval fortress, 429 m above the Mediterranean. A visit combines botanical collections, the site's remains and viewpoints reaching as far as the Estérel mountains and the golfe de Saint-Tropez.
Two botanical atmospheres
The southern section contains dozens of species of succulents and xerophytes from different continents. To the north, the atmosphere changes with Mediterranean plants or species adapted to wetter areas, as well as caves and a waterfall. Themed and artistic trails punctuate the walk.
What to know before visiting
The garden is open every day, with opening times varying by season. In 2026, the advertised adult price is €10; 12–17-year-olds and students pay €6, while entry is free for children under 12. Dogs are welcome on leads.
The added attraction
The garden has the Jardin remarquable designation. Its appeal lies as much in its plant collections as in its spectacular position at the top of the village: the climb culminates in one of the Riviera's great panoramic views.
