A short walk from the Louvre Museum, Les Caves du Louvre occupies around 800 m² of historic cellars dedicated to wine experiences. Visitors can learn about tasting or create their own blend with a sommelier.
A one-hour guided tour
The classic tour lasts 60 minutes and costs €36 in 2026. It covers terroirs, aromas, winemaking and reading a label, with a tasting of one white wine and two red wines. A Premium version is offered at €50, also guided by a sommelier.
Create your own bottle
The Create your own wine workshop lasts 2 hours and costs €95. After discovering five red grape varieties, each participant creates a blend, then corks, labels and wax-seals the bottle before leaving with their personal cuvée.
A little something extra
Other tastings take a more gastronomic approach, including the pairing of 10 wines and 10 cheeses. An immersive visit without a sommelier is also offered at €29, with several languages available.
Les Caves du Louvre stands out for its very practical approach: visitors do not simply listen to explanations about wine, but smell, taste and compare it and, during the blending workshop, actually make a bottle bearing their name.
