Smile Racing, inside Smile World at Gaîté Montparnasse, has 8 ProSimu motion simulators equipped with bucket seats and motion actuators. Sessions run on Assetto Corsa, with several driving worlds: GT, Formula and rally depending on the format.
A quick introduction or a real race?
The Discovery option lets you try GT driving for 15 minutes from €12. To go further, Single Race offers 15 minutes with a choice of car and circuit, while Double Race, Grand Prix and Ultimate Race formats provide more driving time and allow participants to compare lap times. The main packages are available from age 14.
The format to know if you enjoy competition
Smile Racing also organises Formula and GT Grands Prix with qualifying, a starting grid and a final race. This is the closest format to a genuine sim-racing evening with friends, and much more interesting than a simple individual session if you come as a group.
Good to know before you visit
The centre recommends booking 2 to 3 weeks in advance, particularly on Wednesdays and weekends. The address is very convenient: the complex is in Ateliers Gaîté at Montparnasse and makes it easy to combine sim racing with bowling, karaoke, laser tag, pool or arcade games.
A little something extra
The actuators let you feel braking, kerbs and weight transfer: this is therefore more than simply a steering wheel in front of a screen. For a first introduction to sim racing in Paris without investing in equipment at home, it is one of the most accessible and complete experiences in the city centre.
