Near Bastille in Paris, Chante turns karaoke into a mini-concert. Up to 10 people perform on a stage with spotlights before a digital audience that reacts to the performance, rather than singing in a conventional private room.
What happens during the experience?
A session lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. The group has dressing rooms and costumes, then sings on stage with effects designed to recreate a concert. Vocal coaching can also help prepare a song.
Is it suitable for families?
The experience is advertised for all ages, with a dedicated package for groups including several children aged 4 to 17. Students also benefit from an advertised €20 rate for a 75-minute session.
An extra detail
Two bars allow visitors to complement the session with cocktails and food. Tailored formats are available for birthdays, hen and stag parties, or corporate events.
Chante at Bastille is clearly different from a traditional karaoke room: the group performs on a real stage and the experience centres on the feeling of giving a concert to a digital audience.
