Les Voyageurs du Ciel is a paragliding school based in Gréolières since 2017. On a tandem introductory flight, passengers fly with a state-qualified instructor and need no previous experience. The site has three official take-off areas, around 300, 700 and 1,000 m above the landing area at the entrance to the village.
Which take-off site will be used?
The choice depends on the package and, above all, the day's flying conditions. The so-called '300' take-off is reached after around 30 minutes' walking from the main landing area; higher sites require a longer approach and offer other flying possibilities.
What if you really want to learn?
A distinctive feature of Les Voyageurs du Ciel is that it is also a school. In 2026, the €260 discovery day combines training on a practice slope, theory and an educational tandem flight, with the chance to take the controls under the instructor's supervision. It is advertised from age 12.
What to know before visiting
For passengers weighing over 100 kg, the school asks to be contacted in advance. As with all paragliding, the take-off site and exact arrangements are adapted to the day's weather.
The real advantage here is the choice between a straightforward first flight and a much more educational introduction to the sport.
