Starting from the village of Tanneron, this walk of around 1 hour 30 minutes crosses hills and mimosa plantations. From January to March, the yellow blossoms scent the landscape. The trail offers views towards Grasse, the Bay of Cannes and Lac de Saint-Cassien, before returning to the village via Notre-Dame-de-Peygros church.
Start: Tanneron tourist information office, near place de la Mairie. Parking is available at the hikers' car park. Wear suitable footwear; flowering varies with the weather. Stay on authorised paths and respect private plantations.
Extend your outing: discover mimosa growers, explore the ridge trail and visit the hilltop villages of the Pays de Fayence. Tanneron is also a stop on the Route du Mimosa, a tourist route linking Bormes-les-Mimosas to Grasse. You can request a map of the trail from the tourist information office before setting off.
